Description: Recollections by Ray and Irene Brown, residents of Inyo County, specifically Bishop, California. Stories included relate to Owens Valley cattle and alfalfa ranching, mining history in the White Mountains and Inyo Mountains, townsites of Laws, Chalfant and Benton, Crowley Lake Dam construction and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, the Narrow Gauge Railroad, and Paiute Indians in Benton area.
